Born in Juba city, he was a citizen of Central Equatoria State (CES), of Bari ethnicity. His academic journey started at Christian Missionary Society (CMS) in Juba, and Luka High School. He holds a BVSc. in Veterinary Science from Alexandria University, Egypt. In early 1980s, he joined the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Juba.
He played for Katar club and was good defender. He was
very friendly and pleasant person to associate and play and work with.
