Born in Juba city, he was a citizen of Eastern Equatoria State (EES), of Ma’adi ethnicity. He academic journey started at Luka high school, and he earned a diploma in Prison Sciences, Law, Criminal Justice and Correction studies from Prison College in Khartoum. He was married.
